PRAY FOR OUR STUDENTS, FACULTY, AND STAFF. Every morning our school community prays two prayers. You can join us or pray any way you wish because prayer works!
Holy Family Prayer - Heart of Jesus, I adore you. Heart of Mary, I implore you. Heart of Joseph, ever just, in these hearts I place my trust.
Prayer to St. Nicholas of Tolentino - O God, source of strength and courage, you gave your beloved preacher, Saint Nicholas of Tolentino, the conviction of faith to the very end. Grace us with the ability to translate your teaching into action, remain patient amid hardship, serve the poor and those who suffer, and live as your true and faithful servants. Saint Nicholas of Tolentino . . . . .pray for us!
SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL FINANCIALLY. We have several ways you can do this.
Annual Giving - Annual Giving is a fund that supplements tuition to keep the lights on, purchase curriculum, and take care of expected and unexpected expenses. The generosity of those who give to this fund make it possible for us to raise tuition in smaller increments. since Annual Giving covers what tuition does not. Annual Giving is also tax deductible.
Guardian Angel Program - The Guardian Angel Program provides tuition assistance for families whose children attend our school. While St. Nicholas tuition is lower than at some other schools, it is still a significant cost.
The Del Garber Education Fund - Mrs. Maggie Garber created this fund in memory of her husband, Del. This fund provides tuition assistance to families in our school.
The Annual Auction - This school year’s annual auction will occur on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Ocean5 here in Gig Harbor. This event offers multiple opportunities to support our kids.
Choose to sponsor personally or have your business sponsor the auction.
Make a donation to the auction.
Appealing experiences: If you have experiences to share that many people cannot access (such as a vacation home, frequent flyer miles, a boat, etc.), people can afford to bid for a weekend away, for example, rather than purchase a cabin themselves.
Items of interest: We have received items such as a carved image of Jesus and Mary, hand-crafted wood furniture for the outdoors, beautiful bowls, and other gems that have been very popular.
Gift cards: Do you have gift certificates you have never used and don’t plan to? We use them throughout the auction.
Attend the auction yourself. Auctions are a fun way to support an institution. There are games, the anticipation of bidding, and the surprise items that do exceedingly well.
Volunteer for the auction. There are multiple roles that need to be filled so that the event goes smoothly.
Can you read to children, play music, coach a sport, or share your professional experience with our students? We most likely could use your talents!
