Throughout the years, the St. Nicholas Catholic School Annual Fund Campaign has been a vital component to educating and forming Saints and Scholars.  This is a beautiful opportunity for our community to support our school and an accomplishment in which our donors should take pride.  We thank you for your kindness and for keeping St. Nicholas in your hearts and minds.  

The Annual Fund is a yearly fundraising campaign that directly supports SNCS’s current essential operational needs.  Our goal is 100% participation from our parish and school community.  Foundations and companies awarding grants often look at overall participation of a school’s community (parish, businesses, alumni, faculty, and parent) in fundraising efforts.  All contributions made to the Annual Fund are tax-deductible.

 What is the Annual Fund and why is it necessary? 

• As with most schools, tuition and fees do not fully cover all of SNCS’s expenses. For the 2024/2025 school year, the cost to educate one student will be $10,300.  The average tuition per student is $6,014 which leaves a $4,000 gap.  Gifts made to the Annual Fund directly supports each student by retaining outstanding educators and support staff, updating curriculum, providing for STREAM learning opportunities, maintaining the monitoring of security cameras, upgrading technology with up-to-date security, and covering operational needs, and expenses.  The Annual Fund supports SNCS’s mission in forming Saints and Scholars to provide an excellent education.

How can you donate?  

• All gifts are tax deductible, and can be made in the form of cash, check, and credit card via our website.  You can also find envelopes in the church or mail in your donation.  Memorial gifts, gifts in memory of someone you loved or admired, are a particularly meaningful way to contribute to the St. Nicholas Catholic School Annual Fund Campaign.  We also send letters and return envelopes to all school families and ask each family to make a pledge or contribution to Annual Fund that reflects their finances.  In other words, some families can afford to give $2000 or more while others can give $25. It is important for families to give something to the Annual Fund so that when we approach foundations for grant money, they see that families are “all in” for St. Nicholas! 

 Be part of our Community!  Our St. Nicholas School community will be represented at the April 23rd, 2024 Tacoma Rainiers game.  If you set up a recurring gift by March 21st, 2024, you will receive two tickets to the game and join us in representing our school!
